Pathway Through The Labyrinth

The painting came from a significant experience that occurred in 2011 and after a period of living in my car, my world pretty much in total collapse. Unable to work, Pathway was the first art I created  in 6 months and was my first expression of what was going on for me internally. The path of the labyrinth has many twists and turns and often when you think you are nearing your goal you are frustratingly  directed away. Its only looking back at your journey that you have a better understanding of the lessons that needed to be learnt from each turn. The reality is that there is no path to our reconnection to the Beloved, we were never disconnected.
