Angelic Encounter

I came to Ireland in 2013 and live in Union Hall in west Cork. Om my rest days from creating my art I would visit a fairy tree near to Skibbereen. I was a bit of a lost soul at the time, in my late 60s, I felt I was on a lonely path to finish my life. On this one day I felt a felt a strong presence around me and it held me firm. It felt that Ireland had given some kind of blessing. A few days later I was invited a trip to Tara by a friend, although Tara had often been included in my many books, for some reason on this trip I came oblivious to its history. I was recognized when I went for a coffee and offered the opportunity to have an exhibition for two months, that two months stretched into 10 years. I came pretty penniless and sold an art piece for 6000 euro, and this set up the Tara open Studio. I often say to people that you never know what the Universe has in store when you leave expect.
